About Tony Kaai

Tony has served as President of the Denison Development Alliance and the Denison Industrial Foundation since June 1, 2000. Since his arrival he has assisted with the expansion and relocation of 24 companies that have created over 2,300 new jobs.  In 2005 the Denison Development Alliance was honored as the States best economic development program for cities with a population of 15,000 to 40,000 by the Texas Economic Development Council (TEDC). In 2006 Tony was selected to serve on the board of directors of the TEDC.

Tony came to Denison from Muskogee, Oklahoma where during his eight-year tenure as President of Muskogee Development he played a significant role in the expansion and relocation of 18 companies that created over 2000 new jobs.  Prior to his tenure at Muskogee he served as the President of the Cushing Chamber of Commerce and Industry.

In 1994 Tony achieved his industry’s highest honor by becoming a Certified Economic Developer. In 1995 he was selected by the Oklahoma Economic Development Council as the “Professional of the Year”. He served as President of OEDC, the state wide economic development organization, in 1998.

Tony serves on the North Texas Regional Airport Development Committee, the Texoma Council of Governments Economic Development Policy Advisory Committee, the Texoma Health Foundation and on the Board of Directors for the Center for Workplace Learning.
Tony is a graduate of Oklahoma State University.

He is married to Kerry and they have 3 children; Travis, Brandon and Kelly.
